The DeLeon is a Target Idenification Detector or T.I.D. The DeLeon is designed as an easy to use, turn-on-and-go detector. The faceplate has only four controls: Sensitivity, Discrimination, Threshold and a Mode Switch. It uses the same circuitry as the Cortes, so you can expect the same depth and sensitivity from the DeLeon that the Cortes is already well known for.
"Cortes Circuitry...Silver Sabre Simplicity"
The DeLeon is named after the famous explorer Ponce de Leon, who searched Florida
looking for treasure and the fountain of youth.
The Cortés is a simple and functional meter that gives you extensive amounts of information to work with. The top row's alphanumeric read out gives you target information in the broadest strokes. All targets fall into one of the four categories: Iron or Foil; Nickel; Pull Tab; Ring; Zinc Penny, Screw Cap; Copper Cent, Silver Coin.
From the beginner to the pro, the Cortés is able to meet the needs of any detectorist. Simple analog controls, easy to read digital meter, preset or manual ground balance all housed in a package that weighs less than 3 lbs. with batteries. Who knew that full function target ID was so easy or fun!
The Cortés combines user-friendly analog controls with state of the art digital signal
processing to create an easy to use Target Identification Detector.
The Cortés doesn't need several books or videos so you can "unlock" its secrets.
Simply turn it on and you're ready to hunt.
The Cortés uses a factory preset ground balance so there is no need
to fiddle around wih a bunch of controls.
What enhances the Vaquero's versility is is 3-3/4-turn manual-adjust ground balance, which gives the detectorist the capability to set up the machine to suit mineralization conditions and personal treasure-hunting style.
Tesoro has also added an ED 180 discrimination feature for filtering trash from treasure, a push-button pinpoint for easier digging, and a VCO-style all-metal operating mode--features that give the Vacquero its "do anything" power. The actual weight of the Vacquero is just under 2.2 lbs. The Vacquero is the ultimate go-anywhere treasure tool. The versatile Vaquero is an all-around detector designed to do just about anything a detectorist could want.
The Vaquero is named after the Spanish word for "cowboy", the Vacquero lives up to
the hard-working take-on-the-tough-jobs reputation that made cowboys in the Old West famous.
The Cibola combines High Output Technology (HOT) with built-in mineralization rejection for turn-on-and-go simplicity that will enhance your treasure-seeking experience. The Cibola's primary search mode is an ED 180 Silent Search discriminate, with a threshold-based, All-Metal mode that's accessed with the push-button pinpoint. Tesoro has added a Frequency Shift selector for fine tuning the detector--just flip the switch to adjust the operating frequency from 14.3 kHz to 14.5 kHz or 14.7 kHz.
The Cibola weighs in just under 2.2 lbs. and provides flexibility to use any Lobo SuperTRAQ or Tejon accessory coils, a lifetime warranty, along with the depth and sensitivity you'd find in a more expenseive detector.
"Simply put, it's simply powerful!"
Hunting for a treasure detector that's simple in design yet powerful in performance? The Cibola, named after one of the legendary seven cities of gold searched for by Spanish conquistadors, combines the best of Tesoro's renoved features to make it easy to go hunting--whether you're a metal-detecting novice or an expert.
Tesoro decided to bring the Silver back full circle to where it started...the original Silver Sabre was turn-on-and-go detector with Silent Search Discrimination and All Metal Modes.
The Silver µMax uses a microporcessor to control the audio tone and battery test. It comes with an 8" concentric coil and Tesoro's latest plastic faceplate. The new Silver µMax returns to its roots and offers strong, silent, and simple operation once again.
"Strong, Silent and Simple!"
The Compadre is a modest machine that can do a lot of the same things that its bigger brothers can do. It works great for coin, competition and relic hunting, but it does it without any excess knobs. All you have to do is switch on the detector and you're working in a silent search, motion all metal mode. The farther you turn the knob, the more discrimination you can bring to bear on those trashy sites. The Compadre has it all. One knob simplicity for the beginner and high gain circuitry and the famous Tesoro ED-180 discrimination for the advanced user. If one detector can do all of this maybe less is more.
"Single Knob Simplicity and Ultra-Lightweight Designed with the idea that less is more!"
Treasure hunting with a Tesoro just became more versatile than ever. The Outlaw is an all-terrain multicoil phenomenon. With it's 3 coil bundle package (5.75", 8", 12" x 10"), the Outlaw allows all the tools of the trade to be at the ready for any environmental experience. Built on the tough as nails technology you've come to expect from Tesoro, the Outlaw has it's roots firmly set in the Ban dido Series of metal detectors. This family of detectors also gives the user the return of the True No-Motion retune that allows for precision pinpointing. The 3-3/4 turn ground balance also allows the "Quick Swap" technique with it's 3 search coils.
The return of the True-Motion return that allows for precision pinpointing!
With Tesoro's revolutionary detector, the Tejón, you will be able to scan clearly and deeply. The Tejón will go to incredible depths to find your targets. It features a high output transmit oscillator to push the signal deeper and an increased gain for sensitivity to smaller items. We have also added a dual discrimination that is set by the user and an easy to use trigger switch that can quickly change from discriminate to the alternate discriminate to pinpoint mode without slowing you down.
Adjustable Audio Tone with Dual Discrimination
"A Tesoro detector that is designed to make your old sites seem like new again"
The Lobo SuperTRAQ is the pinnacle of electronic gold prospecting technology. No other detector gives you the fast, accurate and reliable ground tracking in normal and severe soils like the Lobo SuperTRAQ. Tesoro's famous discrimination circuitry lets you relic and coin hunt
The new grey color scheme is to match the H.O.T. Technology family of detectors already in production. We also changed the battery test tone and length of the tone, because many customers had complaints about the old tone.
The Lobo SuperTRAQ is simply one of the finest gold nugget metal detectors you can buy. Tesoro's SuperTRAQ Computerized Ground Tracking System solves the detectorist's greatest problem-ground balancing. No matter where you hunt, the Lobo SuperTRAQ will quickly self-adjust to eliminate minerals letting you find more gold with ease. Discrimination circuitry with instant pinpointing at your fingertips takes the awesome power of the Lobo SuperTRAQ into every type of metal detecting you do.

Optional Search Coils:
The Sand Shark combines time-proven PI circuits with the latest digital technology creating the first microprocessor controlled PI detector for the new Millennium.
Pulse Induction (PI) detectors have always been the natural choice for working wet salt beaches. PI circuitry and single loop coils will not see changes in salt-water conductivity that drive a VLF-style detector crazy. Add Tesoro Electronics' exclusive interchangeable Printed Spiral coils (available in two sizes) and you create a fantastic PI detector but we didn't stop there.
The Tesoro Sand Shark will change the way that you think about pulse detectors.
The Sand Shark Searchcoils are now Hardwired. The two coils that come stock are the 8" and the 10 ½".
The Sand Shark has two distinct operating modes: VCO and Normal. When working in the VCO mode, as targets get closer to the coil, the threshold generates a louder, higher pitched tone great for pinpointing. The Normal mode works with a single tone and is used for beachcombing and other prolonged searches. Tesoro has added a microprocessor to help you customize the detector to your specific needs. The Pulse Width control allows you to tune your detector to the best balance of depth, sensitivity, and battery life. You can also change the Normal mode audio frequency. Simply use the "F" adjust knob to set the tone and you're ready to go. The Sand Shark also has a new drop-in battery compartment for quick and easy changes.
The Tiger Shark uses microprocessor technology to create a true dual function machine. In Normal Mode, the Tiger Shark works like any other Tesoro detector. It uses the same great ground balance and discrimination features that made the Bandido series so successful. On land, the Tiger Shark can be used for coin and relic hunting and even gold prospecting. By using the four controls on the outside, you can fine tune your detector to handle whatever conditions you are working in.
Working in the wet salt areas is where the Tiger Shark outshines the land detectors. In land conditions, the most crucial adjustment is using the ground balance to tune out mineralization. In wet salt conditions, changes in the conductivity in the sand cause most of the problems. The Tiger Shark uses a completely different set of internal settings in the SALT Mode than in the NORM Mode. There are no special controls or techniques to remember.
The Tiger Shark Searchcoils are now Hardwired.
